    Luxe N°9 was designed with luxury in mind. Our pre-blended solution contains naturally derived ingredients and no nuts or mineral oil to give you a medium brown tan that can last up to 7 days when cared for properly – all while drying quickly due to the added alcohol! Plus, mix it with any regular solution or additives for additional customization!

    What is a violet-based solution?

    A violet spray tan solution refers to cosmetic bronzers that come in a shade of violet and provide immediate color upon application. Additionally, they can stain the skin, allowing a more customized experience. These violet bronzers work particularly well with skin with yellow undertones (or warm skin tones), as they neutralize any orange or ashy hues and create a rich, chocolate-brown tan after development.

    How to Use

    For one full-body tan, pour 2 ounces (50ml) of solution into the spray gun. Increase usage if necessary. Apply one coat of solution using the Sjolie Spray Tan Method. Wait 8 hours before rinsing with warm water and allow 24 hours to see full-color development.

    Application Tips:

    ● Do not shake the solution before use
    ● Only spray tan prepped skin
    ● Apply only one light coat of the solution
    ● Dry the client after each spray pass
    ● Use Sjolie pH Balancing Spray and Barrier Cream for best results

    Always secure the lid tightly to your solution bottles and store the unused product in a temperature-controlled room (65-75°f) away from direct light. Store any leftover solution in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. Never pour the excess solution back into the original bottle.

    How to improve your spray tan:

    ● Exfoliate and shave 24 hours before the spray tan
    ● Remove all lotions, perfumes, and makeup before the appointment
    ● Avoid wearing tight, restrictive clothing while the tan develops
    ● Do not use soaps during the initial rinse
    ● Only use spray-tan-approved Body Wash and Lotions after the spray tan

    Glycerin will help to trap moisture in the skin and deeply penetrate the skin for ultimate hydration.

    Caramel and Ext Violet #2 work together to create a perfect, deep brown hue for immediate color benefits and they act as a color guide for easy application by the technician.

    How many tans can you do with one bottle?
    You can achieve 16 tans per 32-ounce bottle when following the recommended usage.

    How long will my spray tan last with this formula?
    Your spray tan can last upwards of 7 days when you use this formula! It’s important to use spray-tan-safe products like the Sjolie Body Cleanser and Tan Extend to preserve your color for as long as possible.

    How much product should I use?
    For one full body tan, use two ounces (increase if necessary) of product and apply a single coat. You should not spray more than one light coat.

    Can this solution be mixed with the Original Line?
    Yes! You can mix this solution with any 8-hour formula, but never mix it with a Rapid formula!

    Why does my skin feel tight and itchy after using this product?
    Our solution offers quick-dry benefits yet still requires a moisturizing regimen to maintain healthy skin. Should your skin feel tight or dry despite regular hydration, consider incorporating an ultra-rich moisturizer like Sjolie Body Renew (1-2x per day) into your routine for extra nourishment. Additionally, too hot of showers and baths can strip the skin’s moisture levels – so avoid extra hot water!

      I was using Norvel Venetian before this and received a sample of the Luxe 9. I really like the color but I find myself using the luxe 12 and rapid more so I can get the ultra dark color with the purple undertones.

      Luxe 9 is my most used solution. I love mixing with Original 9 to neutralize the undertone when I’m on the fence with which one to use on my client.

      I like that the luxe formula is considered a quick-dry. Sometimes the original line is too sticky in my humid climate so this one is great for clients who don’t like that. And if I need to add hydration I’ll add anti-aging or CBD drops to help.
