Solution № 12 is designed for darker complexions but is an excellent medium-tone summer color. Our solution № 12 is very popular in the summer months and can even be mixed with our other solution blends to lighten or darken the tan. Tans using this solution will last about 10 days (with proper care).
What is an olive-based solution?
Solution colors & undertones are affected by cosmetic bronzers. These cosmetic bronzers act as a color guide for technicians during application as well as a temporary color for the customer as the tan develops. Most cosmetic bronzer will wash off in the first shower; however, it does have a staining power that tints the skin with the undertone used, violet and green are most common. This tint is only temporary and will gradually fade while the DHA continues to play part in the spray tan color.
An olive-based solution will help to neutralize red color or cool undertones. The Icon Reserve Line with an olive(green) base is ideal for those wanting a beautifully natural, golden tan. For an in-depth guide to choosing the right product, check out our guide on choosing a solution.
