This unique formula is suitable for all undertones – warm, cool, or neutral – and delivers complementary results every time. Clear No.9 is also the only Sjolie solution to contain a fragrance, with a subtle Green Tea scent that wears well during development.

What is a bronzer-free solution?

A bronzer-free tanning solution does not contain the cosmetic coloring that typically provides an immediate tan color and color guide in a regular solution. Instead, it’s a clear formula that is a great option for those who are concerned about color transfer or prefer an “invisible” tan. Keep in mind that the DHA in the solution will develop gradually over 24 hours, so you won’t see an immediate change in color. However, over time, you will notice your tan becoming darker.

How To Use

For one full-body tan, pour 2 ounces (50ml) of solution into the spray gun. Increase usage if necessary. Apply one coat of solution using the Sjolie Spray Tan Method. Wait 8 hours before rinsing with warm water and allow 24 hours to see full-color development.

Application Tips:

● Do not shake the solution before use
● Only spray tan prepped skin
● Apply only one light coat of the solution
● Dry the client after each spray pass
● Use Sjolie pH Balancing Spray and Barrier Cream for best results

Always secure the lid tightly to your solution bottles and store the unused product in a temperature-controlled room (65-75°f) away from direct light. Store any leftover solution in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. Never pour the excess solution back into the original bottle.

How to improve your spray tan:

● Exfoliate and shave 24 hours before the spray tan
● Remove all lotions, perfumes, and makeup before the appointment
● Avoid wearing tight, restrictive clothing while the tan develops
● Do not use soaps during the initial rinse
● Only use spray-tan-approved Body Wash and Lotions after the spray tan

Is there only one shade in the Clear formula?
Correct, our Clear formula is available in 9% DHA only.

Why does this formula seem so thick and foggy when I spray?
The Clear formula is formulated slightly differently than the regular Sjolie solutions. The thicker viscosity of this solution will not negatively affect your spray tan equipment or experience! To ensure the air remains clean, be sure your extraction system is set to the highest setting.

How many tans can you do with one bottle?
You can achieve 16 tans per 32-ounce bottle when following the recommended usage.

How long will my spray tan last with this formula?
Your spray tan can last upwards of 10 days when you use this formula! It’s important to use spray-tan-safe products like the Sjolie Body Cleanser and Tan Extend to preserve your color for as long as possible.

How much product should I use?
For one full body tan, use two ounces (increase if necessary) of product and apply a single coat. You should not spray more than one light coat.

Can this solution be mixed with other solutions?
Mixing the Clear formula with another will add cosmetic bronzer and defeat the purpose of the clear formula. We don’t recommend mixing the product with other solutions unless in a pinch! You can always mix this formula with Sjolie Additives for extra customization.

Can someone with nut allergies use this product?
Our Original Line of Sjolie solutions contains an extract from the husk of the walnut. In most cases, this will not negatively affect those with nut allergies because the derivative comes from the husk instead of the nut. However, we always encourage you to conduct a patch test. An allergic reaction will occur on the applied area within 30 minutes.
