Pick two bases
Every Sjolie solution has a set DHA strength, from N°6 at 6% to N°14 at 14%. Original is aloe-based with an olive undertone; Luxe is alcohol-based with a violet undertone.

Set the ratio
A full-body tan uses 2 oz. The ratio splits that pour: at 70 / 30 you pour 1.4 oz of A and 0.6 oz of B. The blended strength is the weighted average of the two.

Read the undertone
Original counts as olive and Luxe as violet, so the undertone follows the pour. 70% Luxe gives 30% Olive / 70% Violet; two Original solutions stay 100% olive.

Match the skin
The blended DHA picks the Fitzpatrick skin types it suits best:

DHA Booster adds +1% per dose. One dose is 2 droppers per ounce of solution, so 4 droppers in a 2 oz pour. Shimmer, anti-aging, firming and scent drops change the feel and finish, not the DHA.

What happens on the skin
DHA builds the tan
DHA (dihydroxyacetone) reacts with the amino acids in the outermost layer of skin and forms brown pigments over the 8-hour development window, then keeps deepening for up to 24 hours. More DHA means a deeper result, which is why the blended DHA drives everything else on the recipe card.

Undertones correct color
Color theory works on the skin too. Olive undertones counteract pink and red, so Original reads golden-brown on cool and neutral skin. Violet undertones counteract yellow and warm tones, so Luxe deepens warm skin into a rich, non-brassy chocolate brown.
Bronzer is the guide
The cosmetic bronzer in a solution gives instant color so you can see your coverage while you spray. It rinses away at the first shower while the DHA keeps developing. Clear N°9 skips the bronzer entirely for clients who want no residue.

Original Line
Hydrating, gentle, olive undertone creates golden results. Available in N°6 Light (6% DHA), N°9 Medium (9%), N°12 Dark (12%), and N°14 Dark Depth (14%). Enriched with aloe vera, walnut extract, vitamin E, vitamin C, and glycerin.
Luxe Line
Quick-drying, violet undertone creates deep chocolate-brown results. Available in N°9 Medium and N°12 Dark.
Rapid Solutions (18% DHA)
Available in both lines. Rinse in 1-5 hours while color continues developing up to 24 hours.
Clear N°9
Bronzer-free, 9% DHA, aloe-based. Perfect for brides who dislike bronzer residue.
DHA Booster & Spray Tan Additives
Two full droppers of DHA Booster per ounce of solution raise DHA by about 1%. Anti-aging and firming concentrates and shimmer use the same 2 full droppers per ounce, and scent needs only 1–2 droppers per 2 oz spray. Add them to your solution cup at the appointment, measured for that one spray.
